Things I’m truly grateful for today:

  1. Not feeling the dread I usually feel on Monday mornings. As I’m learning more about alignment of goals I have a greater sense of control over the projects I take on and how I feel about them. I also feel less responsible for outcomes and this lowers the pressure on me to “make stuff succeed.”
  2. Wearing a comfortable pair of pants. For some reason I’m wanting to wear softer more flowing things lately after wearing so many pairs of skinny jeans.
  3. Got a really good night’s sleep last night.
  4. Minimal junk food yesterday.
  5. My physical health because if I don’t feel well physically nothing else is really possible.
  6. I can read books on my iPhone.
  7. I have a little reading light that uses a single LED. It gives me enough light to read a book but Michael can still sleep and not be bothered by the light
  8. Michael is healthy.
  9. Matt is healthy.
  10. My cats Inky and Gus are healthy.
  11. Matt is doing well in school on his own. He cares about his grades and works at them.

1/236/13 Celebrate Successes!

MC900353717

Successes large and small that I’m celebrating Today!

  1. Matt passed his permit exam and has his Learner’s Permit! This isn’t my success, it’s really his. He studied and prepared for it. The celebration on my end is moving patiently through the multiple steps at the DMV office. It’s not AWFUL but there’s a lot of room for improving the experience that’s for sure. Let’s just say if I were to focus on how to make the experience a joyous one it would be an interesting challenge for me and a lot of people. Although on the other hand I’ll be for many people, the experience is a million times better than perhaps how they were treated in their native country.
  2. Didn’t eat candy as my snack.
  3. Stopped at one cocktail last night.
  4. Yesterday was a restful day which my mind and body were really demanding. Didn’t do any work. Didn’t respond to email or read email. It was a day OFF.
  5. My information product is beginning to create itself. I LOVE when that happens.
  6. The images Randy Wall created for my new website are so spot on perfect. I’ve received wonderful feedback on my comic book alter ego. It’s so gratifying when something I envisioned becomes the real thing.
  7. Had a very productive session with my biz coach George Ira Carroll on moving forward with my one-on-one coaching offers. Filled in some gaps and gave me information and advice that will keep me in momentum.
  8. It’s feeling like I’ll be creating my information product systematically by writing articles. So each article will turn into a chunk of the product. This feels good because each article will offer some value to subscribers, gives me a way to get input, and allows me to make progress as I create the product.
  9. My discomfort as I read updates on the network marketing programs I’ve signed up for. I usually don’t see discomfort as something to celebrate and at the same time I’m celebrating my willingness to be curious and ask “what am I learning about who I am” from the emotions I’m experiencing.
  10. Got all my errands and groceries completed on Thursday.

Things I’m truly grateful for today:

  1. I spilled some coffee and it ended up on my apron instead of my nice white Tshirt!
  2. I can hear squirrels running on the roof when I work in the attic.
  3. It’s a cloudy day and the attic will stay cool. When it gets warm up here it’s challenging to cool.
  4. I’m learning new tricks for manifesting what I consciously desire by bringing my subconscious and body into alignment.
  5. I can spend the day doing things that bring me joy. 150 years ago I would right now be baking bread so we would have bread to eat for the next few days. Then I would be making soap. Then I would be using the soap to wash people’s clothes and so on.
  6. We have Netflix so even if we spent 2 hours watching a so-so movie, it’s still amazing that we can even stay at home and choose among hundreds of movies to watch as soon as we want to.
  7. I have clean water to drink. I turn a handle and like magic, clean water comes out of the tap. The water may not be the purest or ideal but at least there isn’t anything in it that will make me dangerously ill or kill me in a week. Once upon a time a drink of water could give you cholera which would kill you in a few days.
  8. Inky and Gus are six years old and in good health and content and well cared for. They’re not feral in which case they might be dead by now of starvation or sickness or injury.
  9. Matt passed his permit test. I didn’t really doubt he would but he seemed to have some concerns. So Matt can start learning how to drive and in not too long he’ll be driving.
  10. Being married to my husband, Michael Murdoch.
  11. Living in the front range of Colorado. There’s still something so magical about looking west from the great plains and see the mountains. It’s such perfect proof of the power of the natural world we live in.

1/23/13 Celebrate Successes!

MP900313773

Successes large and small that I’m celebrating Today!

  1. Listened to the audio, Shifting from Rational to Intuitve. Interesting how little of my body I use and how just a few small actions can feel so different.
  2. The decision Matt and I made to leave the DMV and try another day. Often I know I would have been saying “We’re already here so let’s just wait” but we would have been there until 5 pm. It’s hard to stop investing in something we’ve already invested a lot in but it’s often the wisest course.
  3. So a good question to ask myself regularly throughout the day is “What do I feel most inspired to do right now?” “What would be the most fun?” And to involve Brilliance in these decisions as well.
  4. Just had a cool idea to give my coaching packages names. So the free session would be called “Discover Your Superhero Mission” If you’re a secret rebel entrepreneur very often you have a mission-a big, important mission you’ve been given by the Universe. Your job is to make a “Dent in the Universe” as Steve Jobs calls it. And you may also feel, “If I just knew what that mission was” So that’s the first thing I look at with people, what IS your mission and what’s it going to take to get there and what are some simple, practical steps you can take right now to get there faster?
  5. First pass at my coaching page done.
  6. Randy is completing the images I requested.
  7. Made a larger dent in the clutter.
  8. The Doxie scanner works fantastically.
  9. I didn’t overeat yesterday which is the first step to losing thsoe extra 6 pounds I gained over the holiday.
  10. Transferred several CDs to MP3s so I can listen to them on my iPhone.
  11. Ran Drive Genius and defragged my hard drive as well as did an overall repair. Hoping this will cut down the number of “Beach Balls of Death” I get when I’m working.
  12. Also freed up 20 gigs of space on my hard drive which should also contribute to things working a lot faster. Surprised at the number of media files sitting around that are fragmented and hog space.

Things I’m grateful for today:

  1. I’m alive!
  2. I’m learning to live less in my head and more fully in my entire body.
  3. My physical well-being because without feeling wonderful physically I can’t accomplish much else.
  4. The anxiety and sense of conflict I’ve been in. I used to feel that when I felt anxious, sad, or conflicted it was weakeness on my end. That it showed I was wrong. Because “winners” if you would, always feel 100% confident and sure of themselves. What I’m learning is that it is simply information that I’m not fully in alignment with my body and subconscious and I’m not quite making a decision or acting from what is really true for me.
  5. I’m learning how to move more quickly which includes changing my relationships with people. Not ending relationships necessarily, but shifting roles.
  6. Loving my new Doxie scanner. Works so simply and well. Love the Fujitsu but it was a lot more tempermental.
  7. I’ll have the entire weekend for my own projects. I would love to have all those folders in my office put away by the end of the day Sunday!
  8. The new outfit I put together using brown ankle pants and a block print cotton lawn blouse. Really pretty, springlike, and feminine.
  9. Inky and Gus.
  10. Michael
  11. Matthew.
  12. People in my life like Keli Conci who are powerful and having big hearts.
  13. My new website which I love because it’s so ME!!!
  14. Being married to my husband, Michael Murdoch.
  15. My son, Matt.
  16. Received the Anchor Hocking glass jars. They’re even nicer looking than they were in the photographs.
  17. Inky doesn’t seem to hate his hairball medicine as much as some of the other brands I’ve tried. I don’t have to stalk him to get some on his paw.
  18. I’m alive!

1/22/13 Celebrate Successes!

images

Successes large and small that I’m celebrating Today!

  1. Listened to the audio, The Importance of Feeling Consistently Great. And I’m already feeling the beenfits.
  2. Knowing now that not attaining a goal is not because I’m lazy or don’t “want it badly enough.” Rather it’s often because my subconscious and body aren’t yet in alignment.
  3. That taking action from a place of inspiration IS the bsst way to go when it comes to manifesting what I desire. Sometimes I feel guilty for my resistance to struggle but really if it’s struggle it’s a sign that I’m not yet fully aligned with a goal or that the goal is the wrong one for me.
  4. Completed a template I’ll use to write copy for my website.
  5. Completed about 50% of my coaching offer page.
  6. My Anchor Hocking jars arrived and they’re BEAUTIFUL!.
  7. Decided not to attend a seminar this weekend that I’d planned to attend. I’m excited to have an entire weekend to get rid of all the paper and junk that’s been cluttering up my office for years!
  8. Realizing that no one is “taking my power” or “taking my place.” That the only person who really takes my power is me!
  9. I didn’t overeat yesterday which is the first step to losing thsoe extra 6 pounds I gained over the holiday.
  10. After spending 2 hours sitting around at the Denver Motor Vehicle Licensing place Matt and I chose to leave. Good decision!
  11. I’m back in my home office and I’m not sitting at the DMV!!!
  12. I learned that I could actually schedule an appointment!!!! for Matt to take his learners permit test!!!!! Oh Joy! How does it get even better than this?

1/21/13 Celebrate Successes!

Orange Balloon

Successes large and small that I’m celebrating Today!

    1. Completed my weights and strength-training.
    2. Took a long walk.
    3. Had a great check in call with Keli. I’ll be interviewing her next week and it gives her an opportunity to demonstrate her program and gives me an opportunity to demonstrate how I help entrepreneurs ignite their mojo.
    4. Had a good meeting with Randy Wall about illustrations for my website and marketing materials. I really enjoy working with designers and illustrators. Especially when we’re sharing the vision and collaborating.
    5. Got everything pulled together so I can take Matt to get his Learners Permit tomorrow.
    6. Cleared up a bunch of scanned stuff from Shoeboxed. It feels so good throwing that paper out.
    7. Listened this morning to the audio recording “How to Feel Consistently Wonderful. I have a lot more insight into the mind-body-emotion connection as it relates to aligning conscious goals with my sub-conscious and body.
    8. My sense of humor seems to have returned. Thank goodness! Maybe it’s hormones?
    9. No hangover after drinking way too much tequila last night.
    10. I still have energy to get my offer written. How does it get any better than this?
