1/10/13 Major Vitamin G(ratitude) Today!

Things I’m Massively Grateful for Today:

  1. The push I got from George yesterday that “I’m still holding back” it challenged me to really start asking “How can stop holding back and start being fully all of me?” This really made me think and open up more to what is possible?
  2. My continued excellent health. I’ve always been someone not prone to getting ill and I tend not to acknowledge and appreciate what a blessing this is. But I know that when I don’t feel well, even when I have a headache, how debilitating it is.
  3. I’m married to Michael Murdoch. We’ve been together for 20 years, we began dating in 1993 and got married in 1994 and before I met him, I seriously wondered whether I would ever meet a man I wanted to marry and spend my life with. Again it’s easy to forget how blessed I am when it comes to having a life partner.
  4. My son Matt. He’s 16 and it can be easy sometimes to put him down because he’s a teenager and a lot of the time he’s not the easiest person to be with. At the same time, that prickliness is good because he’s finding out who he is and I’d rather he do it now when he’s naturally supposed to be challenging the boundaries than when he’s 51 like me and it seems to take forever for me to get back to finding what those boundaries actually are. I think “Well you’ll get to live your entire adult life as yourself rather than trying hard to be someone else.” He has so many possibilities and things he can create in front of him and I’m grateful and happy that he can be open to all of them.
  5. I got to wake up when I when I was 30. So on the one hand my waking up into who I BE has been a 20-year journey that started 20 years later than it might have. But hell better to have those 20 years in awareness than waiting another 20 years when I’m 70.  It’s never too late for anything but it’s nice to have more time than less.
  6. My two cats Inky and Gus. What can I say about them I haven’t already said? Cats are such subtle beings and it’s such a pleasure to  simply be with them or to look at them. In particular, Inky is like a small panther and I love watching him walk around and do his thing. He’s sleek and graceful. A small work of art.
  7. I’d like to come up with a reason to feel grateful I’m traveling to Chicago this weekend. I imagine I’ll come up with something if I keep open to it. I guess there are always small dramas and interesting things to observe at the airport. It’s like a sociology lab and I usually get some good ideas for marketing articles because I can watch “consumers in the wild” so to speak.
  8. I’ll be seeing Michael’s entire family this weekend and I genuinely like his family a lot. They’re all really smart and interesting and they’re all kind-hearted. The trick will be not spending all day everyday with them which is what Michael is looking forward to doing because he loves just hanging out with everyone.
  9. We’re able to stay at my parents house which is large and comfortable. The giant bonus is my parents are out of town!! Which means we have it to ourselves and I’ll get to watch anything on want to watch on their big screen TV without negotiating with my dad (negotiations usually fail on my end) and eat whatever we want whenever we want without my mom telling us we can’t eat something because she’s saving it or whatever other craziness is going down.
  10. The client I was scheduled to talk with today had to cancel so I get the entire morning to myself and that feels like an insane luxury!

Expansive Question #5. Actualize What You Want

personalityGreat question from Tamara Younker on Facebook

Tamara Younker 11:17am Jan 9

Do you sometimes find it difficult to stop your judgment of you? What if kindness is the cure? Ask, “What energy, space and consciousness of kindness can I be for me right now?”

The truth will always make you feel lighter,
a lie will make you feel heavier.
Sometimes heavier means that there is something else that is more true for you.

1/9/13 Celebrate Good Times, Come On!

Print

It’s a Celebration!!

  1. Two people are definitely registered for the Mojo Money Box playshop next weekend! I’m really excited!
  2. I have a lot more clarity about how I desire to contribute to one of my clients going forward into 2013! That feels really good because I wasn’t very clear yesterday about what I could do to help.
  3. A really cool woman I know who lives here in Denver is moving into some areas that I’m really excited about — I’m planning to call her today to set up some time to talk and learn more about whether she’s a person with whom I can make some magic.
  4. Had a great intensive planning session with George on Monday. Got tons of shit covered and I’m feeling excited about moving forward into 2013.
  5. My website is moving along and picking up momentum! It will probably be up and ready to do business by the end of the month.
  6. Keep getting some great ideas for creating videos and getting them up on the web.
  7. Kristin sent me the seven questions and this is going to help me tremendously when intense, negative feelings come up and get to me.
  8. What else is possible?
  9. How does it get any better than this?
  10. What must I perceive, know, be, and receive in order for today to be to have more money coming in with ease, joy, and glory?
